Paving the Way through a Culture of Learning

A recent LinkedIn study found that 94% of employees said they would stay with their employer if it invested in their development (source). So, we asked our employees if they agreed. Not only did they concur, but they also offered suggestions for educational content.

Employee Development

Fueled by their enthusiasm for learning, our  Founder C.B. Kuzlik made it his mission to create and develop a comprehensive employee training program at Let’s Pave. Working with executive leadership and Human Resources, C.B. established “Let’s Learn”—ongoing training & development for employees, driven by employees. The goal is to expand access to learning opportunities and skills development, while empowering employees to become proficient in knowledge sharing and thought leadership.

Three training modules are offered each quarter: Industry Knowledge, Process Effectiveness, and Leadership Impact. Each module has multiple courses taught by employees with expertise in the subject matter. Material focuses on topics such as product knowledge, mastering communication, successful negotiation, conflict resolution, software training, and more. Training is hands-on and includes skill-building exercises through teamwork, as well as interactive group discussion.

Employees are required to take at least two courses each quarter in the module of his or her choice, which equates to a minimum of 10 hours of training per quarter.

“Let’s Learn” is helping our employees learn and grow at every career stage. Collectively, it is equipping our people to better serve clients and problem solve. Thus, achieving our goal to make your life—and the pavement management process—easier.

Enterprise Learning

Along with our internal initiative, we also offer extended enterprise learning in our “Let’s Pave Academy.” Ideal for facility and property managers, the Academy offers complimentary, 1:1 learning through on-demand webinars. Attendees take away vital information on essential trends and solutions for commercial parking lots to help them buy better and drive value for their assets.
