About the Role
Our Business Development Coordinator is responsible for generating new business opportunities by researching target accounts, identifying prospective clients and decision-makers, engaging prospects, and qualifying opportunities. This role serves as the front line of the sales organization, with a focus on new business development, relationship building, and creating a consistent flow of qualified opportunities for Business Development Managers.
Apply NowEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Research target accounts, industries, companies, and decision-makers to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop and organize prospect lists using available research, CRM, LinkedIn, networking, and other business development resources.
- Tailor outreach based on prospect research, business needs, and potential opportunities.
- Generate through outreach.
Lead Qualification
- Gather and document information about prospect needs, timing, business priorities, and potential fit.
- Ensure all leads passed to BDMs meet qualification standards.
Pipeline Development
- Coordinate discovery calls and meetings for Business Development Managers and ensure relevant prospect information is communicated in advance.
- Assist with preparing presentations, proposals, research, and other materials that support new business opportunities.
- Support pipeline growth by maintaining a steady flow of qualified opportunities
CRM & Data Management
- Maintain data integrity of prospect and account records.
- Accurately log all research and communication activities (calls, emails, meetings).
- Ensure accurate tracking of sales process flow.
- Leverage technology and automation to improve efficiency.
Collaboration & Alignment
- Work closely with Business Development Managers, marketing, and operations to align prospecting efforts and support new business opportunities.
- Ensure prospect information, qualification details, and next steps are clearly communicated during hand-offs to Business Development Managers.
- Participate in pipeline reviews and weekly planning sessions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of experience in business development, sales, sales support, customer-facing, research, or a related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with prospects.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite) and sales prospecting tools, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex products or services to a B2B audience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of lead generation best practices and tools.
Position Type:
This is a full-time position with a typical workweek of 40 or more hours, with additional hours as needed to support business operations. Employees may be eligible for a hybrid or remote work arrangement, based on their proven track record and location eligibility. This role requires up to 30% travel.

Expected Salary Range:
The expected salary range offered for this position is $55,400-$80,440.80 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on various factors including but not limited to, experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary bonus or commissions.
