Scoring with Kids in the Community through our Outreach

We understand that the surrounding community plays a critical role in the success of businesses like ours. That is why, through our community outreach program, Let’s Pave supports the efforts of local clubs and programs that exist to improve the lives of children and families in our neighborhood.

On Wednesday, July 13, 2016, Let’s Pave had the privilege of sponsoring a field trip for 50 kids with the Jones Memorial Community Center to see the Chicago Fire in action. This event provided 50 children a chance to experience a professional soccer game—something they would not have the opportunity to experience otherwise.

“We’re so excited to be a part of this life-changing event for so many kids and their families in our immediate community,” said C.B. Kuzlik, president of Let’s Pave.

Although the weather was wet at times, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the children. Despite rain delays, the Chicago Fire came out on top over the Sporting Kansas City soccer club. Let’s Pave team members enjoyed sharing the evening with all of the kids, their siblings, and parents. Snacks and refreshments in abundance were also provided courtesy of Let’s Pave.

“This was the trip that all of the staff at the Jones Center wanted to chaperone; everyone who was able to attend had a great time,” commented Cheryl Cherny, development associate.

Next up at the Jones Center, our president C.B. Kuzlik will teach a series of classes on the essentials of business for the teen enrichment program.
